For real, honestly, I don't know what the penalties are supposed to accomplish, but I'm glad it's penalties without issue for characters penalized. Banishment from village they don't care about is only bad for their 2 new friends, 1 week admin leave is more like reward for Mikatsuki which we love to see.

It wasn't too bad it almost felt like a detective like story unfortunately the characters and their roles were pretty predictable.

Dude did a lot more than just kill their dad, but all that is NOTHING compared to when he attacked Mikatsuki!!! Hope he ROTS

Filler in Naruto was exciting like that Mecha Naruto and that filler where hidan has been used by kabuto

Naruto had even a whole bunch of crap filler. Like the one with the ninja bird. This episode was very nice for a filler to calm down from the big events that had happened.

I only question this a little because: How can a group of ex shinobi be taken down by 2 guy's, who are not even shinobi? Even with the smoke bomb should most of them be able, to dogde the trying attack.

Just these two and most of the other filler arcs was worse than this.

Actually this episode wasn't too bad when compared to Cho Cho based filler.
